From the age of burning waste to the age of transforming it into resources.

Oxygen-Free Pyrolysis Technology

The Urban-RIG URC-2000 is an innovative technology that decomposes waste at molecular level under oxygen-free conditions at temperatures of 500–900°C. Proven at 11 sites across Japan, with 2 patents acquired.

Fundamentally different from conventional incineration, it produces zero dioxins, smoke, or odor. Fully compliant with Philippine incineration regulations (RA9003).

Four Breakthrough Advantages

01

No Sorting Required

Mixed waste is fed directly via conveyor belt. No pre-treatment needed. Perfectly suited to the reality of the Philippines, where waste sorting culture has not been established.

No Sorting
02

Overwhelming Cost Advantage

Compared to incinerators of equivalent capacity: 1/2.5 to 1/6.5 the cost.
Urban-RIG JPY 30 billion vs. Incinerators JPY 75–195 billion (at 2,000 t/day capacity)

1/6.5
03

Zero Environmental Impact

Oxygen-free pyrolysis method. Zero dioxin emissions. Virtually no smoke or odor. Fully compliant with RA9003 (incineration ban).

Zero
04

Five Values Created Simultaneously

Not just waste treatment. Recovered oil → power generation (3.4 MW), biochar → farmland restoration, carbon sequestration → carbon credits, 80 local jobs per site.

5 in 1

Treatment Process

Four stages that transform waste into valuable resources

01

Input & Drying

Efficient drying using superheated steam. Fed directly with no sorting required.

02

Pyrolysis Reaction

Molecular-level decomposition in an oxygen-free environment at 500–900°C.

03

Resource Recovery

Separation and recovery of oil and solids (biochar).

04

Cooling & Discharge

Achieves approximately 95% volume reduction. Residue safely discharged.
